The Assistant Branch Manager supports the Branch Manager in the general operation of the branch by insuring that the Branch Manager is kept informed of any and all problems, making recommendations for procedural changes to improve operations and assisting in keeping branch morale high. In addition, in the absence of the Branch Manager, the Assistant Manager will be responsible for branch operations.

In this key position, our customer friendly Drivers is responsible for ensuring courteous, accurate and timely delivery of our products to our customers. The duties include assisting in loading and unloading of the delivery truck and completing multiple daily deliveries.
The ideal candidate will enjoy working with customers; have 2 years experience driving a box truck and a safe driving record. We also welcome drivers with CDL-B licenses. The ability to lift large and/or heavy objects up to 100 pounds and move other large/heavy objects with material handling equipment is required. A forklift certification will be required in this role and we are happy to provide training.

The ideal candidate will have a solid attention to detail, the ability to handle multiple tasks, a pleasant customer service manner and a moderate level of computer proficiency. The ability to work in a fast paced environment and the desire to learn about our products and procedures is important. This position requires the ability to lift 50 pounds and a forklift certification (we will train). The HVAC Job Estimator provides Granite Group customers with design services and installation recommendations for all types of heating and cooling systems. The following outlines some of the key tasks involved in performing this position:
•Preparation of heat loss and heat gain calculations for customers. •Design appropriate systems to satisfy the needs of the job. •Provide professionally prepared quotations for heating, cooling and domestic hot water systems. •Provide technical support, sizing, wiring and product application for customers and Granite Group staff.
This position also provides back up to the counter and performs order pulling as necessary.
To be qualified for this position, you will need stellar customer service skills to include oral and written communication skills, the ability to negotiate and resolve conflicts and above all, patience and a desire to serve the customer. Solid computer skills along with an excellent analytical and mathematical aptitude are necessary. In addition, you must be willing to become a product expert and have the ability to multi-task and manage time well. We will train the right candidate on the design of heating and cooling systems.

Our dynamic Inside Sales staff is responsible for serving Granite Group customers by providing them with key information or services requested in a profitable, accurate, courteous and timely manner. The general responsibilities include answering the telephone, communicating pricing, preparing quotations and checking inventory status.; In addition, promoting new and existing products to customers as well as any specials in place is a key aspect of this role. This position also assists at the counter as needed depending on location size.

Our Showroom Sales staff is responsible for generating showroom sales and performing sales oriented activities to include greeting and educating customers, managing pricing matters, using appropriate questioning, performing research, sourcing new products and servicing our customers’ needs resulting in the maximum profitable sale.
